Public Sector Marketing

State and local governments in Pennsylvania turn to the private sector to supply a range of products and services to improve government service delivery. Standard procurements include information technology (IT) architecture, IT system integration, and consulting services. State Street Advisors has been engaged to represent major national IT firms in targeted competitive procurements conducted by state agencies, including the Pennsylvania Departments of Revenue, Labor and Industry, Transportation (PennDOT), and Public Welfare (DPW). We serve as liaisons between our clients’ in-house marketing and sales teams assigned to respond to published government opportunities, and the agencies awarding the contracts, both supplementing their efforts and facilitating relationships.

State and local governments have diversified their procurement practices to cover health care services, solid waste services, and alternative energy services. In some cases, budget constraints are driving these decisions. In others, governments are trying to meet multiple public policy objectives with purchases of services. State Street Advisors combines practical experience with a clear understanding of how the public sector purchasing process works, to produce results for our clients
